Brendan and Jules met in Mrs. Wiseman's first grade class. After being best friends for eight years, Brendan decided to step out of the "friend-zone". The risk definitely paid off. Brendan and Jules dated all 4 years of high school, but mutually decided to go to different colleges. Brendan ventured to DePaul University in Chicago and Jules stayed closer to home in Auburn, Alabama. Through countless visits, laughs, tears, and countdowns; the long distances finally ended in May 2017 when they both graduated from their universities. Being in the same city for the first time in four years was and has been beyond exciting and full of blessings. Brendan proposed to Jules on the bridge in Sugarloaf Country Club where he has asked her to be his girlfriend eight years earlier. On this same bridge, Brendan asked Jules to prom and it's where they shared their first kiss. Brendan had always promised one day he would ask Jules to marry him on this same bridge. Brendan fulfilled that promise on August 2, 2017.
